We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be like the first day of high school all over again. We want to help make your first experience at City Church a great one!

City Church gathers every Sunday and offers two identical experience times to choose from:

Collège Notre-Dame Theatre: Sundays at 10:00am or 11:30am

City Church meets up in the Cote-des-Neiges/NDG borough of Montréal. For those unfamiliar with our city, this could be described as Midtown Montreal...halfway between the airport and the downtown core. Ours is the largest and most diverse borough in our great city.

We meet at the Collège Notre-Dame Theatre, directly across the street from St. Joseph's Oratory.

In total, a City Church experience is about 70 minutes in length.

We begin with friendly greeters and a complimentary café to help you find your bearings. After this, our City Creative band leads us in 10-15 minutes of energetic music - song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along. You may also choose to observe at your own pace, and in your own way.

After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will come out to share a relevant and inspiring message about Jesus that intersects with our day-to-day experiences, opportunities and challenges.

Sundays are energetic, welcoming, but also casual. We take faith and God seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We are all broken people and everyone has a place here. One of our core messages is: There are no perfect people.

Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed warmly as our VIP guest.

When it comes to our next generation, we have two main priorities: safety and fun.

Your child’s safety is priority one for us. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our City Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in and ready. City Kids is offered every Sunday at either 10:00am or 11:30am for kids ages infant through 12.

We are also proud to offer M514 for students aged 13-18. M514 meets at 11:30am each Sunday at Collège Notre-Dame. We provide free food and drinks, and a discussion-based approach around issues that teenagers are facing. For more info about M514, click the button directly below.
